Details: Product Description Nelson Education is pleased to present the only Canadian Electrical Wiring Series on the market. This sixth Canadian edition of Electrical Wiring: Commercial takes the reader through the essential requirements for commercial installations as set forth in the 2012 edition of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CEC), the safety standard for electrical installations. Because Electrical Wiring: Commercial is both comprehensible and readable, it is suitable for colleges, technical institutes, and vocational technical schools. The student requires a reasonable level of mechanical aptitude and skills in order to be successful in the practical application of the techniques discussed. The chapters are sequenced to introduce the student to the basic principles and wiring practices contained within a commercial building. Included in the text is information to introduce the reader to the Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and to fire safety in commercial applications being covered. About the Author Ray C. Mullin is a former electrical circuit instructor for Electrical Trades, Wisconsin Schools of Vocational, Technical, and Adult Education. He is presently a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association, Electrical Section. He is currently Director, Technical Liaison, and Code Coordinator for a large electrical manufacturer.
